About Navarrette, Castillo, Cook, etc.
Please sign in to see more.
This family history was passed to me, Riaz Felipe (also known as Philip Gilbert) Castillo. "Julian Navarrette, Sr. was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on June 22, 1842. His father's name was Santos and his mother's name is unknown. Julian was a very honored man in the town of Bowie, Arizona. He worked with the Indians building town houses and also served in the United States Army. He was given the nick-name Muchach, which is short for Muchacho. Julian married Manuela Burrel on December 1860.

He helped start the town of Bowie and brought his brothers Benito Navarrette, Faustio Navarrette and Bernabe Navarrette. Julian and Manuela brought up Romula Navarrette (1898), Santiago Navarrette (1899) Julian Navarrette, Jr. (1901), Manuela Navarrette (1903), and Tiofila Navarrette (1906). They also adopted Sally Soledo Navarrette when she was a year old.

Julian also helped in the capture of Geronimo. He died at the age of 96 and Manuela died at the age of 72."

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
